wow has alot ever happened...

first off , hi mom :)
well where do i begin..
I QUIT superstore, and got a new job working for Flint Energy. I'm an intake Representative, but have been catching on very quick and have also adapted the responsibilities of a recruiter coordinator. I answer the recruitment hot line and answer questions about people trying to apply for our job postings,i update resumes and upload them into our system and i run around,, alot! but with new responsibilities now i also call people for reference checks as well as help put trades hiring packages together. Its fun and alot of work at times pulling off 54 hour work weeks but i enjoy staying busy and i really enjoy the people i work with. I like that i can have real conversations with them, and they are so willing to help me out! it also gave me an excuse to get a whole new wardrobe!

Blake is loving school, He has recently been talking to his friend Justin about the church, which i think is really awesome! Justin seems really eager to learn more and we're excitedly waiting for him to accept our invitation to come to church with us!
some other news was Hawna got married and i was her bridesmaid, she was beautiful but it was freezing outside! We then took off reading week and went to Fairmont ( which coincidentally hawna was going on her honeymoon) it was so nice to relax and hang out despite being sick i loved spending time with my awesome husband and BC is beautiful! With that trip we also got to go to the temple with my mom. I sure wish that the temple was closer or that the one in Calgary could just be finished already! hah

We stopped in Sparwood and thats when we realized we had forgotten our camera, so we had to use out cellphones instead!

I got accepted to school at Bow Valley College, where i'll be taking dental administration at the end of the summer. Only 6 months but i don't know where my job is leading so im not sure what my plans are yet.
We went up to Edmonton for this past weekend and hung out as a family. Every time i go to West Edmonton Mall there is always a cheerleading competition. There were so many people it was insane, it reminded me of being back in Lima Peru in that crowded mall where i was robbed, Blake reached in my purse to put the pamphlet back in it and i freaked out - lets just say i had the death grip on my belongings the whole day! The swim park was fun.. but exhausting after getting up at 430 in the morning and going to bed at midnight. We got there 2 hours before anything was open.. so i was tempted to sleep on a bench! We stayed in the hotel with Todd and Becky and i got even less sleep that night plus we lost an hour due to daylight savings! but i also tried out the Aqua massage things, they kind of look like tanning booths, boy they were SUPER! i loved it! so relaxing i could have fallen asleep!
We went to Logans for breakfast where my brother proceeded on giving me a bloody nose as well as spraining my ankle... it was nice to spend some time with my family but boy is my body ever paying for it!!
Life is really good right now although i feel a little left out in the babybump department as all the other young married couples seem to all be pregnant!
but my time will come soon enough, it is fun just being the 2 of us and im not quite sure if im ready to let that go.
I finally put up some pictures on the wall, and took up cross stitching, although with working 10 hour days plus the hour there and back commute i hardly have time for it im really enjoying it and it reminds me of my mom every time i do , do it! I love her and i love all the things she has taught me. I loved spending the weekend with her and being able to connect with her on another level. Being married i can relate to her differently and i'm so excited for when i become a mom because i will have her to help me out and i couldn't be more blessed! i love how we have grown to be best friends and i really miss her !
oh how that old story of girls usually marry guys who are just like there dads is beginning to sound more and more real, as much as i hate admitting that. Everytime Blake does something i always get that.. " thats oddly familiar oh yeah my dad would do or say something like that" Its great..sometimes.. i mean i love my dad and i love my husband.. but when you put the 2 of them together.. they could be twins. But i am very thankful for that and it reassures my love for him everytime i see him acting so comfortable around my family like he belongs, and i've never had that with any of the other boys that i brought home.. in fact im pretty sure my dad couldn't have been any more opposite that a few of them..
Speaking of him we got to have everyone over for dinner for his 40.. something birthday :P haha i made my first ever homemade blackforrest cake and it was so good!

i really don't know how much longer old bertha is gonna last... she had another cool number of KM the other day though!

hopefully my mom will email me more pictures from our trip and i can add them, as she captured what old people blake and i have turned into !
